Fit Issues Detract From an Otherwise Premium Pair
I really wanted to love these sunglasses, but the fit just isn’t right for me. The way they sit on my nose causes the top of the frames to rub against my eyebrows, and I find myself constantly adjusting them throughout the day. For a pair at this price point, I expected a more refined and comfortable fit. The build and lens quality are great, but the overall experience is hard to enjoy when the frames never quite stay where they should.

Not really photo-chromatic
Great glasses but I wouldn’t call the lens photo-chromatic as they barely change shade, if at all. Great lens, this is my third pair of MJ with this tint. Comfy fit too!

Perfect for Changing Sunlight — Super Co
I recently purchased the Maui Jim Ho’okipa Ultra G sunglasses, and I’m very impressed with their performance. The photochromic mirror lenses adapt perfectly to changing sunlight, keeping vision clear and comfortable throughout the day. Colors appear vibrant and natural without being harsh on the eyes.
The frame is lightweight yet sturdy, making it very comfortable to wear for long periods. I often move between bright outdoors and shaded areas, and these lenses adjust smoothly every time. The overall build quality feels premium, just what you’d expect from Maui Jim.
These sunglasses combine functionality, comfort, and style — an excellent choice for anyone who spends a lot of time outdoors.

Wide Fit- Nice glasses
I tried a set of these with the photochromic HTL lens. Awesome quality as always. I ended up sending them back because the fit just didn't sit on my face correctly. If you need a low-light polarized lens these would be my first choice. I'm hoping they put this lens in other frames going forward!
