Great addition
We have several of the large Pineapple Votives and love them. When the smaller size came out we couldn’t wait to get our hands on them and They are super nice. They do prefer a battery tea light as the smaller airspace inside can snuff out a flame if wind isn’t just right. The larger ones stay lit no matter what. We plan on buying at least two more. Great addition to our home.

The return of the Pineapple
My wife and I first saw the original version of the Pinapple Votive at the Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar in Lahaina. Sadly TB in Lahaina is gone, but the new votive is an improved version that brings back some great memories of sitting on the lanai overlooking the water. Try putting a small strand of cool white fairy light in them.

Amazingly beautiful!! Love this design.
Read the previous reviews. Not sure who would put a candle in anything anymore!!! I guess this should have come with a label advising not for heat generating candles. I used string lights usb powered and it looks incredible. I get comments on this all the time on how beautiful this small pineapple with colour changing lights or fixed colours looks!!! Wish they would bring this back and recommend indoor use and with non heat generating lights/candles. Who uses candles anymore? LOL!!

Not for outdoor use
The product write-up did not specify indoor use only, and they look like they are made to be outdoors. I bought these (Large and Small size) to use on our patio. Well, I have had them ouside for about a month and they are already disintergrating. The metal is turning white, the bases have seperated from the glass pineapple piece, and they are basically trash at this point. I just wish the product description was more clear on the fact that they are not outdoor friendly.

Looks nice, but has a poor design
As others have noted, this candelabra is poorly designed for use with real candles, as the only opening is at the top. Thus, shortly after lighting a candle and installing it, the candle will go out for a lack of oxygen. I was able to solve this by using a glass/tile drill bit and drilling a 3/16" hole through one of the lower glass windows. One hole provided enough oxygen to keep it lit, but I suspect that two holes would make the candle burn brighter. It took me about an hour to drill the hole.
The framing is made of aluminum.
